HAMAG-BICRO Reopens the Small Loans for Industrial Transition Program
The Small Loans for Industrial Transition program, which had been temporarily closed, reopens on 20 November 2026 at 8:00 AM. There is also good news regarding available funds: significant unallocated amounts remain in all regions — particularly in Pannonian Croatia (89.35%) and Adriatic Croatia (67.86%), while 49.53% of funds are still available in Northern Croatia.
Reminder: what does this program offer?
These are loans from €25,001 to €100,000 with an interest rate of 0.5% to 1.5% per annum — depending on the development level of the investment area — a repayment period of up to 10 years, and the option of a grace period of up to one year. The funds can be used for the purchase of fixed assets and partially for working capital (up to 30% of the loan amount).
Who can apply?
The program is intended for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises that:
- have been operating for more than three years
- have their registered seat or a branch in Pannonian, Northern, or Adriatic Croatia
- are listed on the register of mapped stakeholders of regional value chains
