Croatia has allocated 10 million euros for projects supporting Croats in BiH. Find out who is eligible to receive funding, what it can be used for, and how to apply with expert assistance.

Croatia is providing 10 million euros to Croats in BiH – is your project among the eligible ones?

Every year, the Republic of Croatia allocates significant funds to support Croats living in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This year, that amount stands at 10 million euros — half a million more than last year.

The funds are not intended solely for large institutions — smaller associations, local communities, religious organizations, entrepreneurs, and farmers are also entitled to apply. If you have a project that could make a difference in your community, it is worth checking whether you can still submit an application.

Who is this call open to?

The call is open to two groups:

All registered legal entities headquartered in Bosnia and Herzegovina — including associations, institutions, religious communities, companies, and similar organizations. Farmers — natural persons registered for agricultural activity with a registered seat and residence in BiH.

What can the funds be used for?

Croatia has not limited funding to a single type of project. Projects from several different areas are supported:

Renovation and construction — churches, schools, kindergartens, community centers, healthcare and social facilities, as well as infrastructure projects that help Croats remain in or return to their communities.

Education and culture — courses and programs in the Croatian language, procurement of books for schools and libraries, support for local media reporting in Croatian, and publishing.

Healthcare and social care — equipment for healthcare centers and social institutions, as well as the renovation and construction of such facilities.

Agriculture — tractors, machinery, tools, planting material, construction and equipping of farm facilities, and support for all branches of agriculture — from viticulture to beekeeping.

What is the application deadline?

The deadline for applications is 16 April 2026, which means there is little time to wait.
